It was an amazing day at MEAC today – the book “Salt of the Earth” was launched. A beautiful group of over 100 people came to celebrate the book and all it means. MEAC handled the project from providing the space for the launch, afternoon tea and selling books etc.. The real work was done by Cheryl and the women in the book..(more to follow). I would like to give an enormous thank you to the amazing and fabulous team of volunteers (and the paid staff) that worked extremely hard to set up the room, provide afternoon for 100 ppl, pack up, clean up and all the while laughing. What an amazing team. They did get rewarded with a few very yummy left overs, which made us all happy!
